Project Overview

Metro's plan for enhanced transit service in the San Fernando Valley includes the addition of 14 new stations between the Metro G Line Van Nuys Station and the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station. This project aims to provide safe and convenient customer interfaces and site connectivity, adhering to Metro's state-of-the-art design standards. The light rail service along Van Nuys Boulevard will improve access to key destinations and connect transit users to the expanding network in the San Fernando Valley.

Project Description

Coast surveying, Inc. has been integral to this project, providing topographic surveying, LiDAR data mapping, and sUAS LiDAR data collection and mapping. These services ensure accurate and detailed mapping, which is crucial for successfully planning and implementing the new rail stations and their integration into the existing transit infrastructure.
